Is your bass is kinda muddy, or a little boomy and one-note, and maybe certain higher frequencies make you wince a bit?

I can help.

I'll measure the frequency response in the space and calculate EQ filters to correct the anomalies, then adjust it a bit more to make it sound "right" (usually some gentle bass and treble boost, depending on the space).

The size and shape of the room - as well as speaker placement - has a huge effect on the final sound. Just putting up some speakers and powering it up is only part of it.

Adjusting EQ sliders "by ear" to try and fix it also won't really cut it - you can try, but measuring the room and calculating parametric EQ filters is the way to do it.

If your space has a processor like a Symetrix Jupiter, it's easy to dial in the filters. If you're running the space off of a receiver from the '90s, it can still be done, we'll just need to add in a small processor.

For a space with one zone, a subwoofer, and a suitable processor already installed, the entire process shouldn't take more than 2 hours when it's closed, empty, and quiet.

(More zones or more complicated setups will cost more, and if you need a processor added, that too will be extra - contact with any questions.)

If we go through the process and you're not delighted with the results, I'll reset it all back to how it was, and there's no charge.
